The PXG 0211 XCOR2 54° Sand Wedge combines advanced game-improvement technology with the versatility needed for confident short-game performance. Designed to deliver consistent distance, forgiveness and responsive feel, this sand wedge is an excellent choice for golfers seeking greater control on approach shots, pitches and bunker shots.
Featuring PXG's innovative XCOR2 Polymer Core, hollow-body construction and a high-strength thin face, the 0211 XCOR2 offers impressive stability and playability in a forgiving, confidence-inspiring design.
XCOR2 Polymer Core Technology
At the heart of the PXG 0211 XCOR2 Sand Wedge is the innovative XCOR2 Polymer Core, developed to improve feel, forgiveness and energy transfer.
This lightweight polymer material supports the clubface while allowing it to flex efficiently at impact.
It also helps absorb unwanted vibrations, producing a softer, more responsive strike sensation.
The result is a solid combination of consistent ball speed and improved feedback, particularly beneficial when playing controlled approach shots.
Hollow-Body Construction
The 0211 XCOR2 features a hollow-body clubhead design, providing additional forgiveness compared with traditional compact blade-style wedges.
This construction helps distribute weight efficiently throughout the clubhead, improving stability on off-centre strikes.
For golfers who occasionally struggle with consistent contact, the forgiving design helps minimise distance loss and maintain more predictable results.
High-Strength Thin Face
PXG's high-strength thin face technology is engineered to promote efficient energy transfer and consistent ball speed.
Working alongside the XCOR2 Polymer Core, the flexible face helps maintain performance across a larger hitting area.
This is particularly useful on full and three-quarter wedge shots, where consistent carry distances are essential for accurate approach play.
54° Loft for Versatile Short-Game Performance
With a 54° loft, the PXG 0211 XCOR2 Sand Wedge offers excellent versatility for a wide range of scoring situations.
It provides a useful transition between a gap wedge and a higher-lofted lob wedge, making it suitable for controlled approaches, pitches and bunker shots.
The loft also allows golfers to produce a higher trajectory when additional stopping power is required around the green.
Forgiving Sole Design & Turf Interaction
The 0211 XCOR2 incorporates a relatively wide, forgiving sole designed to improve contact through the turf.
This helps reduce excessive digging on slightly heavy strikes, allowing the clubhead to move more smoothly through the ground.
The sole design is particularly beneficial for golfers seeking greater consistency from fairway lies, light rough and bunkers.
While a specialist blade wedge may offer greater versatility for manipulating the clubface, the XCOR2 prioritises forgiveness and dependable everyday performance.
Confidence-Inspiring Clubhead Profile
The PXG 0211 XCOR2 Sand Wedge features a modern, refined clubhead shape that combines a clean appearance with game-improvement forgiveness.
Its design complements the matching PXG 0211 XCOR2 irons, providing familiar shaping and consistent feel throughout the scoring clubs.
This makes it particularly appealing to golfers who prefer a matching set wedge rather than transitioning to a traditional specialist wedge.
Who Should Play the PXG 0211 XCOR2 Sand Wedge?
The PXG 0211 XCOR2 54° Sand Wedge is particularly suited to mid-to-high handicap golfers and improving players seeking additional forgiveness around the greens.
Its combination of a forgiving hollow-body design, responsive polymer core and versatile 54° loft makes it an excellent option for golfers who want greater consistency on full approaches, pitches and bunker shots.
