At the heart of the design is Mizuno's latest CORTECH Chamber, now further refined to improve energy transfer. By strategically widening the gap between the chamber and the clubhead body, the CORTECH Chamber allows greater face flex while housing a stainless-steel weight surrounded by elastomeric TPU. This innovative construction reduces stress on the face, generates additional energy at impact and positions weight closer to the face to lower spin while producing a solid, powerful feel.
The High Energy MAS1C Steel Face has been redesigned with a sophisticated multi-thickness construction, allowing faster ball speeds across a larger impact area. Working together with the CORTECH Chamber, the face delivers explosive distance while maintaining forgiveness on off-centre strikes.
To optimise launch and stability, Mizuno incorporates Expanded Front-to-Back Weighting, featuring an additional 8g rear weight that balances the heavier front section of the club. This carefully engineered mass distribution promotes consistent launch characteristics while maintaining forgiveness throughout the swing.
A lightweight Carbon Composite Crown further lowers the centre of gravity, encouraging higher launch while preserving excellent stability across the face. The result is a fairway wood that launches easily from a variety of lies without sacrificing ball speed or forgiveness.
The Quick Switch Hosel provides up to 4° of loft adjustability, allowing golfers to fine-tune launch, trajectory and distance gapping to suit their swing and course conditions.
