At the heart of the GT2 is the revolutionary Seamless Thermoform Crown, constructed from an ultra-lightweight Proprietary Matrix Polymer. This advanced material is significantly lighter than traditional titanium, allowing Titleist engineers to reposition weight precisely where it delivers the greatest performance benefits. The seamless construction also maintains the clean, premium appearance and solid acoustics that Titleist drivers are renowned for.
Working alongside the crown is Split Mass Construction, which strategically positions discretionary weight low and forward for increased speed while simultaneously moving mass towards the rear of the clubhead to maximise forgiveness and stability. This balanced approach produces the ideal combination of distance, launch and consistency across the face.
The GT2 also features an upgraded Titanium Speed Ring combined with Variable Face Thickness (VFT) technology. The reinforced Speed Ring maximises ball speed from centred strikes, while VFT expands the effective sweet spot by maintaining impressive ball speeds on off-centre impacts. Together, these technologies produce faster, more consistent performance across a wider hitting area.
