At the heart of the putter is Scotty Cameron's new Studio Carbon Steel (SCS) Face Insert. Complementing the insert is Chain-Link Face Milling Technology, a new face pattern designed to reduce the contact surface between the ball and putter face. The Newport 2's legendary blade profile is further refined with a slightly thicker topline inspired by the popular 2012 Select range, a precision I-beam plumbing neck, refined tri-sole design and customisable tungsten sole weights.
